Street Light is an upcoming Malayalam movie directed by V. R. Shankar and Produced by R. K. Kurup under the banner Ridge Events & Media Pvt Ltd. Irshad and Aparna Nair doing the lead role in this film while Krishna , Maya Vishwanath etc doing the other major cast. Streetlight movie is expected to be release in early 2012.

The movie is said to be based on a novel named ‘Oru Pennum Parayathirunnathu’. It is also being said that the script for the movie will be written  by  Sankar, who will also be directing the movie.

Synopsis :

The story of the movie is said to revolve around a girl named Hima (Apana nair), who falls in love. This affair completely wrecks her life. Irshad will be acting opposite Aparna nair as her heroin the film. Along with Aparna nair and irshad, Krishnan.B, Krishna, Pro.Aliyar , Maya Vishwanath will also be seen in the movie portraying important roles.

It is the seventh film in The Texas Chainsaw Massacre franchise and is a sequel to the 1974 original film, immediately picking up where it left off. Filming began on the summer of July 2011. The film will be released on January 4, 2013.

The movie picks up where the original left off, following a young woman named Heather Miller who inherits a mansion from a grandmother she never knew she had, only to discover that the chainsaw-wielding Leatherface still resides there.

Thuppakki is an upcoming Tamil action thriller film written and directed by A. R. Murugadoss. The film will star Vijay and Kajal Aggarwal in the lead roles. along with Vidyut Jamwal, Jayaram, Sathyan, Gautham Kurup and Akshara Gowda in supporting roles. The story of the film revolves around a youngster from a Mumbai-based Tamil family. The happy-go-lucky man's life undergoes a sudden turn. The decisions he takes after that is the rest of the story. Said by the director A.R.Murugadoss. The film is produced by S. Thanu and features background score and soundtrack composed by Harris Jayaraj with cinematography handled by Santhosh Sivan, who with Thuppakki will introduce the Arri Alexa camera to Indian cinema. The film, which commenced production in December 2011 in Mumbai, is slated for a Diwali 2012 release. Thuppakki stands on the top spot among 30 most anticipated films of 2012 poll, conducted by Behindwoods. Thuppakki will release on 9th November 2012 worldwide.

Murugadoss would collaborate to make an action film, after completing their respective ongoing projects, Velayudham and 7aum Arivu. Vijay's father S. A. Chandrasekhar was to produce the film initially, before Kalaipuli S. Thanu took over the project. Although Maalai Nerathu Mazhaithuli was considered as the title initially, the film became titled as Thuppakki. National Film Award winners A. Sreekar Prasad, Thotta Tharani, who was making a comeback to Tamil films after a three-years hiatus, and Santhosh Sivan were roped in for editing, art direction and cinematography, respectively; all of meeran whom worked on an A. R. Murugadoss film for the first time.

Jab Tak Hai Jaan is an upcoming 2012 Indian romance film directed by the late Yash Chopra and written and produced by Aditya Chopra under their production banner Yash Raj Films. The film features Shahrukh Khan, Katrina Kai

Jab Tak Hai Jaan was Yash Chopra's last directorial venture before his death on October 21, 2012, just weeks before the release of the film.
The film is scheduled to release on the six-day Diwali weekend which begins on November 13, 2012, hence competing against Ajay Devgn's Son of Sardaar.The background score and soundtrack is composed by A.R. Rahman while the lyrics are penned by Gulzar.
